Pinguicula laueana is a perennial heterophyllous carnivorous plant, producing summer rosettes of 5-8 oval leaves in dark green and burgundy (with or without red venation) and winter rosettes of 30-50 closely packed succulent leaves. This montane species was named for Dr Alfred Lau and has large scarlet red flowers, and is among the most beautiful butterworts. The plants shown are representative; you will receive a similar plant that is not flowering at the moment, and greener specimens may turn reddish with intense light over time.
Plants ship bare root in a plastic container to protect them. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off. These plants are about 1" in diameter. It is strongly recommended to get a heating pack during the winter to protect your plant from low temperatures, we are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit. 1 heating pack per order is enough. Light: A sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights. Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feeding: Fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks. Water: Keep soil moist. Humidity: 50-80%. Temperature: 55-85°F. Mature plant size: 2-3" (Depending on care). Dormancy: None, nevertheless, the plant may go into a succulent state during Winter (depending on temperatures).

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
