Pinguicula hemiepiphytica x cyclosecta is a carnivorous butterwort. The plants shown are representative; you will receive a similar specimen. They often develop a purplish hue under grow lights, and they are not flowering at the moment. Each plant is about 1 inch in diameter.
Plants ship bare root in a protective plastic container and are sent on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cutoff. For care, provide bright light (sunny windowsill, T5, or LED). Use Mexican Pinguicula mix and keep soil moist. Humidity 50-80%; temperature 55-85°F. Mature size ~2 inches with care; no formal dormancy, though winter temperatures may induce a succulent state. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
