Pinguicula gypsicola x moctezumae is a perennial heterophyllous hybrid developed in-house under the Rainbow umbrella by Jose. It produces non-carnivorous winter leaves and carnivorous summer leaves. This hybrid can turn orange or reddish under full spectrum lights. The plants shown are representative; you will receive a similar plant, though color and greenness vary with light and time. The plants ship bare root in a plastic container and are about 1-2 inches in diameter. We ship on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cutoffs.
Care details: Potting medium is Mexican Pinguicula soil mix. Light options include a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights. Watering: keep soil moist. Humidity: 50-80%. Temperature: 55-85°F. Mature size is 3-4 inches depending on care. Dormancy: None, however, the plant may go into a succulent state during winter depending on temperatures. Winter care: a heating pack is strongly recommended during winter; 1 heating pack per order is enough.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
