Pinguicula Gigantea x Cyclosecta Butterwort Plant
Pinguicula gigantea x cyclosecta Butterwort plants are offered as representative of the pictures; you will receive a similar plant. They are not flowering at the moment. The plants are shipped bare root and in a plastic container to protect them. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cut off. These plants are about 1" in diameter.
Care and setup: Place in a sunny windowsill or under grow lights such as T5 or LED. Potting medium is Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feeding with fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks. Keep soil moist and maintain humidity at 50-80%. Temperature should be 55-85°F. Mature plant size is 4-6" (depending on care). There is no true dormancy, but the plant may become succulent in winter if temperatures drop. For winter transit, heating packs are strongly recommended; one heating pack per order is enough, and we are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit.
