Pinguicula gigantea red x martinezii is a Rainbow-created hybrid that can turn red or brown under intense full-spectrum lights. It combines the size of P. gigantea red with the coloration of P. martinezii. Seed-grown plants may vary in rosette color, size, or flower, and flowering has not yet occurred. You’ll receive a plant similar to the pictures; some may be greener until stronger light reveals pinkish or reddish tones. Plants ship bare root in a protective plastic container, on Mondays and Wednesdays, and are about 1–2" in diameter.
Growing conditions: LED-grown with 75–80°F days and 55–70°F nights. Winter heating is recommended (1 heating pack per order). Light: bright sun, T5, or LED. Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula mix + calcium. Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks. Water: keep soil moist; humidity 50–80%; temperature 55–85°F. Mature size: 3–4"; dormancy: none, though winter temperatures may induce a succulent state.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
