Pinguicula gigantea alba is a tropical carnivorous butterwort. The plants shown are representative, and you will receive a similar plant. They have been grown under LED lights with daytime temperatures of 75–80°F and nighttime temperatures of 55–70°F, and they will be shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plant; if you need soil, please select the Bare-root + soil option.
We ship plants Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off. It is strongly recommended to include a heating pack during winter to protect the plant from low temperatures; one heating pack per order is enough. The shipped plant is about 1" in diameter, while mature size can reach 4–6" depending on care. Light should come from a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights, and the potting medium is Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feed with fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks; keep soil moist, with humidity between 50–80% and temperatures of 55–85°F. Dormancy is none, though the plant may go into a succulent state during winter depending on temperatures.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
