Pinguicula emarginata x cyclosecta is an in-house hybrid. The plants in the photos are representative, and you will receive a similar plant. They are not flowering at the moment, and some plants are greener than others but will turn pinkish with time under intense light. Plants ship bare root in a plastic container to protect them. We ship on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cut offs. Plant size is about 1 inch in diameter, sometimes larger. The plants have been grown under LED lights with daytime temperatures of 75–80°F and nighttime temperatures of 55–70°F.
To care for them, it is strongly recommended to add a heating pack during winter to protect against low temperatures; one heating pack per order is sufficient. Light needs are a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights. Potting medium is Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feed them with fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks. Keep the soil moist and maintain humidity between 50% and 80%. Temperature should stay between 55–85°F. Mature plants reach about 2 inches in diameter with care. There is no dormancy, but the plant may enter a succulent state in winter depending on temperatures.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
