Pinguicula emarginata x Elizabethiae is a carnivorous butterwort. The plant you will receive is between 1 and 2 inches in diameter and is not flowering at the moment. The plants in the photos are representative; you will receive a similar plant. They ship bare root in a plastic container to protect them. We ship on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cutoffs.
For best growth, place the plant on a sunny windowsill or under T5/LED lights. It grows in Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feeding with fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks helps, and keep the soil moist; humidity should be 50-80%. Temperature preferences are 55-85°F. Mature plants reach about 3-4 inches with proper care. Dormancy is none, though a winter period may induce a succulent state depending on temperatures. A heating pack is strongly recommended during winter transit to protect the plant.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
