Pinguicula emarginata is a perennial homophyllous carnivorous plant that produces one leaf type year-round. The epithet emarginata comes from Latin for notched and refers to the petal margins; the species was described in Puebla, Mexico in 1968. The plants pictured are representative; you will receive a similar specimen. They are shipped bare-root in a plastic container to protect them.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
