Pinguicula ehlersiae is a perennial carnivorous plant with two rosettes: a winter rosette of up to 60 succulent leaves (Nov–Apr) and a smaller summer rosette of about 25 thinner, broader leaves. Named for Renate Ehlers from the 1979 collection near Guadalcázar, San Luis Potosí, Mexico; photos show representative plants, and you will receive a similar specimen. Plants are not flowering now, and color can shift under intense light.
Plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container and sent on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend delays. Shipping size is 0.6–1 inch in diameter; mature plants reach 1.5–2 inches with care. They prefer a sunny windowsill, T5 or LED lighting, and grow in Mexican Pinguicula mix; keep soil moist. Humidity 50–80% and temperature 55–85°F; heating packs are recommended in winter (1 per order).

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
