Pinguicula cyclosecta is a perennial heterophyllous species forming summer rosettes of 6–12 carnivorous leaves and winter rosettes of 35–80 succulent leaves. It is the smallest of the orchid-flowered butterworts. The name cyclosecta comes from Latin cyclus (circle) and sectionem (a cutting), referencing the circular corolla. The plants shown are representative; you will receive a similar plant. They are not flowering now. Some plants stay greener but may darken to purplish under intense light. Plants ship bare root in a plastic container, with Monday and Wednesday dispatch to avoid weekend cutoffs. The plant size is about 1" in diameter. A heating pack is recommended in winter; one per order is sufficient.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
