Pinguicula crassifolia is a perennial carnivorous plant with two leaf forms: summer leaves from May to September and winter leaves during the cold season. It was first discovered in 1976 and described as a new species in 1988; crassifolia honors its thick winter leaves. Plants sold are representative specimens. In cultivation, it has been grown under LED lights with day temperatures around 75–80°F and nights near 55–70°F. The plant ships bare root in a plastic container for protection; if you need soil, select bare-root plus soil. We ship on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cutoffs, and strongly recommend a heating pack in winter (one per order) to guard against cold during transit.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
