It is among the largest orchid-flowered butterworts and is named for the Mexican state of Colima, where the holotype was collected. The plants pictured are representative, and you will receive a similar specimen. It is not flowering now, and it will ship bare root in a plastic container; shipments occur Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cut-offs. Current plant size is about 0.5–1 inch in diameter, and you may receive a bulb-like plant.

Care and handling details: The plant prefers a sunny windowsill with bright light from a T5 or LED setup. It uses Mexican Pinguicula mix as potting medium.
