Pinguicula calderoniae Llano del Conejo is a perennial plant from the Sierra Madre Oriental (Llano Chiquito and Llano del Conejo valleys, San Luis Potosi). It produces two leaf forms: a winter bulb during winter and slender, narrow linear leaves in summer, with about 4–8 summer leaves per season. The species name honors Mexican botanist Graciela Calderón de Rzedowski. The plant was discovered in 2000 during exploration of these valleys. The plants shown are representative; you will receive a plant similar to the pictures, and it is not flowering at the moment. Some plants may be greener than others.
Shipped bare root in a plastic container, plants are sent on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend delays. When dormant, the plant forms a bulb about 0.15–0.25 inches in diameter and is currently in bulb stage. Heating packs are strongly recommended in winter (1 per order); the seller is not responsible for dead plants that lack a heating pack during transit. Plant size depends on its phase. Light: a sunny windowsill, or T5 or LED lights. Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula soil mix. Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks. Water: keep soil moist. Humidity: 50–80%. Temperature: 55–85°F. Mature plant size: 2–3 inches. Dormancy: during winter, temperatures dependent.

The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
