Pinguicula "Bugbane" is a hybrid between P. gigantea and P. moranensis. This cross yields a plant that becomes an excellent gnat catcher when fully grown, thanks to its size and sticky leaves. You'll receive a plant similar to the ones pictured. Some plants run greener than others and may change color under intense light. The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect them, and we ship on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cutoffs.
Plant size is about 1–2" in diameter. Light: a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights. Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks. Water: keep soil moist. Humidity: 50–80%. Temperature: 55–85°F. Mature size: 3–5" (depending on care). Dormancy None, nevertheless, plant may go into a succulent state during Winter (depending on temperatures). For winter transit, 1 heating pack per order is recommended to protect from cold; we are not responsible for dead plants that arrive without heating.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
