Pinguicula Alani Dark Pink Butterwort
Pinguicula "Alani" is an in-house hybrid between P. laueana (undulate geranium flower) and P. cyclosecta. It is a sibling of Pinguicula "Leilani," but Alani produces a dark pink flower instead of Leilani's purple blooms. When exposed to strong light, Alani appears greener with purple edges. The plants shown are representative; you will receive a similar plant. They are not flowering at the moment.
Plants ship bare root in a plastic container to protect them. We ship on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cutoff. They are about 0.75–1 inch in diameter, sometimes larger, and have been grown under LED lights with daytime 75–80°F and nighttime 55–70°F. Mature size is 1.5–2 inches with proper care. Heating packs are recommended in winter; one per order.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
