Pinguicula agnata 'Ekuma' is a carnivorous butterwort that develops golden to reddish tones under strong light. It catches fruit flies and fungus gnats, making it a practical companion for other tropical houseplants. The plants pictured are representative; you will receive a similar plant that is not flowering at the moment. Colors vary—some plants are greener now but will turn golden or reddish with intense light over time.
Plants ship bare root in a protective plastic container and are sent on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend delays. Each plant is about 1-2 inches in diameter. For best results, use Mexican Pinguicula soil mix; keep the soil moist; provide bright light from a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lighting. Humidity should stay between 50-80%, and temperatures range from 55-85°F. A heating pack is recommended in cold transit.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
