The Congo Rojo is a unique tropical plant native to South America. Its botanical name is Philodendron. Unlike most philodendrons, its stems do not grow in a vine-like habit. The Congo Rojo is a self-header that spreads outward as it grows upward.
Its glossy, dark green, thick leaves are spaced very close to each other on a single stem. The stiff, barely visible stem keeps a Philodendron Congo Rojo upright and elegant looking as it matures.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
