Philodendron ‘Choco Empress’ is a rare climbing hybrid prized for its large, velvety heart-shaped leaves. Juvenile leaves emerge a deep chocolate-brown or burgundy, maturing into dark green with golden undertones and pronounced veins. Its velvety texture gives it a regal, luxurious look — hence the name “Empress.” It’s a vigorous climber when given a moss pole or support and can develop very large leaves under the right conditions.
Grows best in partial to full shade, with moist, rich soil and consistent watering. Protect from harsh sun to prevent leaf scorch.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again. Hoghly recommend this shop.
