Protect crops naturally with the Pest Wizard Spotted Wing Drosophila Trap Kit. Spotted Wing Drosophila (Suzukii) is an invasive fly native to Asia that has entered the Americas. The female lays eggs in fruit, which hatch into larvae that feed inside the fruit. Infested fruit turns brown and mushy, and damage can provide entry points for secondary fungal and bacterial pathogens. Unlike native vinegar flies that attack only damaged fruit, suzukii targets both undamaged and damaged fruit. Known hosts include cherries, caneberries, blueberries, strawberries, Japanese plums and plumcots, nectarines, grapes, and figs. The lure is designed to selectively attract suzukii, though a few other Drosophila species may be attracted.
The kit includes two large yellow sticky traps, one 90-day lure, and dual wire hangers for secure deployment in any weather. Store the lure away from high heat to extend shelf life and keep it frozen until deployment. Check out more of our Insect Traps.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
