The Peruvian Apple Cactus Plant, also known as Giant Club Cactus Plant or Hedge Cactus Plant, is a fast-growing, columnar cactus (Cereus repandus) prized for its sculptural form and edible fruit. It develops tall, ribbed stems that can reach up to 20 feet and creates a dramatic focal point in warm, dry landscapes. The plant also produces night-blooming, large white flowers that perfume the evenings.
Its fruits ripen from late summer to fall and are round, apple-sized with a smooth exterior that shifts from light green to pinkish-red when ripe. Inside, the white or light pink flesh contains small, edible black seeds and a mildly sweet, crisp flavor reminiscent of pear or apple. The blue-green stems are spiny along the ridges, and the plant is drought-tolerant, thriving in full sun and well-draining soil for xeriscapes, landscapes, patios, or large containers.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
