Parisian Carrot is an heirloom with small, round roots and a sweet, tender flavor. These golf-ball-sized carrots are ideal for snacking, roasting, or adding to soups and stews. They mature in 60–65 days, and their compact size fits small spaces, raised beds, or containers, while they thrive in shallow or rocky soils. They have smooth skin and crisp texture that’s easy to clean and prepare, and they add visual appeal to any garden.
Plant seeds directly 2–3 weeks before the last frost. Germination takes 6–20 days; 75°F speeds it, but germination occurs in soils as cool as 45°F. For even distribution, mix seeds with dry coffee grounds or sand, then thin to 2–3 inches apart. They prefer light, deeply tilled soils with organic matter, good drainage, and a pH of 6.0–6.6, though they tolerate compacted soil. Mulch after establishment; harvest by loosening soil and pulling roots; store in a cool, moist environment.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
