Organic Jiffy 7 Peat Pellets Large Seed Starter
Organic Jiffy 7 Peat Pellets Large Seed Starter are biodegradable pellets made from sphagnum peat moss. They provide abundant aeration, uniform drainage, and easy root penetration. When water is applied, the compact pellets swell to form round pre-dibbled growing pots.
The peat is held together by a biodegradable mesh net and can be transplanted with the seedling when roots push through the netting. Transplant shock is greatly reduced because the entire pot can be planted without disturbing the roots. Dimensions: 1-1/2" dia x 1-1/4" ht (expanded). My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
