Grow your own peppery and nutrient-rich arugula with Organic Arugula Seeds. These seeds are organic, non-GMO, and heirloom, ideal for salads, sandwiches, and more. Arugula can also be grown as healthy microgreens and prefers cooler weather, making it well-suited to early spring or fall plantings with regular sowing for continual harvest. Warmer conditions require more shade. Harvest leaves when they reach about 2–3 inches and remove any flower buds to prevent bitterness. For germination information, refer to our seed guide.
These seeds are for the 2026 growing season. Germination takes 4–10 days at 45–65 F, with a depth of 1/4 inch. Spacing should thin to 6–12 inches, or 1–2 seeds per planter. Recommended planters are 4–12 inch shallow planters or boxes, or a garden bed. Time to maturity is 40–45 days. Seed prep options include pre-soak, scarification, stratification, or none. Sowing methods include greenhouse, paper towel method, or direct sow. For sowing, use 12 Cavity Greenhouse or Planter with Humidity Dome, Soil Pods, and Liquid Fertilizer. Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again. Hoghly recommend this shop.
