The Gurken Pickle Ornament from Old World Christmas captures a nostalgic holiday tradition. Long ago, parents decorated the Christmas tree and hung the pickle ornament last, hiding it in the green boughs. When children were allowed to view the tree, they searched for the pickle, knowing they would receive an extra gift for being the most observant.
Hand crafted in age-old traditions dating to the 1800s, the ornament begins as molten glass that is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas. Each piece is hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve its distinctive finish. Traditionally designed and handcrafted as a keepsake, the ornament measures 1.5 X 0.75 X 0.75 (HxLxW).

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
