Emperor Penguin With Chick Ornament features Emperor Penguins, the largest penguin species, and highlights their winter habitat on Antarctica's open ice. In nature, after the female lays a single egg, the father balances it on his feet and covers it with a warm layer of feathered skin. About two months later, when the chick hatches, the mother takes over its care.
Crafted in an age-old tradition dating to the 1800s, the ornament uses molten glass that is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas. Each piece is hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve a traditional, handcrafted look. The ornament measures 3 x 1.5 x 1 inches (HxLxW).

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
