Mouse Melon Plant, also known as Cucamelon or Mexican Miniature Melon, is a frost-tender vine that can grow as an annual or perennial. Native from Mexico to Venezuela, it belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family. The vines reach 8–10 feet and grow like cucumbers, making them ideal for walls, trellises, or container and hanging pot use.
Its yellow flowers bloom in spring and summer, producing one-inch-long green fruits with dark green stripes from midsummer through fall. The fruits have crisp white flesh and a cucumber-lime flavor. They are nutritious and can be eaten raw or pickled, used in salads, or added to stir-fries. They grow best in full sun to partial shade in humus-rich, well-draining soil and are hardy in USDA zones 2–11, with frost protection from zone 7 and colder.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
