Monstera deliciosa, commonly known as the Swiss Cheese Plant or Split Leaf Philodendron, is an ornamental perennial vine native to tropical Mexico and Central America. It can be grown indoors or outdoors and is valued for its exotic tropical appearance. The plant is fast-growing and low-maintenance, with large glossy leaves that develop distinctive fenestrations as they mature, reflecting its Latin name meaning "abnormal."
Beyond its foliage, Monstera produces large white flowers and a tropical fruit. The fruit flavor is described as a combination of mango, banana, and pineapple. Leaves can reach 2–4 ft, and new leaves unfurl quickly over 1–2 days. Outdoors in shade, it can thrive for many years and may grow bushy or climb large trees. For fruit, let it ripen naturally: place the harvested fruit upright in a glass for 2–3 days; when ripe, the outer shell peels away to reveal the soft edible flesh.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
