Moldavian Balm Plant, also known as Maldavian Dragonhead or Dargon Balm (nursery name), is an annual herb in the Lamiaceae family. Related to Mint and Beautyberry, it is native to temperate areas of Asia and Eurasia. The erect, multi-stemmed plant features minty-lemon, ribbed leaves that can be dried into tea, used as a spice, or pressed for their citrusy essential oil.
Its blue-purple summer flowers grow in rows along the stems and resemble Lemon Balm, attracting bees. Seeds have astringent properties and have been used in traditional medicine for fever relief. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
