NEW & LIMITED: Rare Variegated Malay Apple Tree in X-Large! This old world tropical fruit tree (Syzygium malaccense, Malay rose-apple, mountain apple, water apple) has an uncertain native range, with suspected origins in Malaysia, yet it is naturalized in tropical areas of South America.
It can soar up to 60 feet in the wild, but can remain low and dense when cultivated. It requires warm and humid growing conditions for best results. New growth appears as a wine-red color, and the flowers are hidden by foliage and largely unseen until they are on the ground. Fruits mature 60 days after flowering and should be hand-picked for best results. Some people report a fairly bland taste, but the waxy, rose-colored skin and white, crisp flesh make it a sweet temptation.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
