Long Purple is an Italian heirloom eggplant that yields dark purple, cucumber-shaped fruits with firm, mild flesh. This variety offers good yields, especially in northern climates, with plants typically producing more than 4 fruits about 9 inches long and harvest beginning in 70–80 days.
Sowing and growing: Start indoors 8–10 weeks before the last expected spring frost, planting seeds 1/4 inch deep in pots. Keep seedlings in a sunny window or under a grow light at about 80°F; germination can be spotty and may take several weeks. Maintain moisture and add organic matter for growth. Gradually expose plants to outdoor conditions, then transplant into well-drained soil in full sun when average temperatures reach about 70°F (roughly three weeks after the last expected spring frost). Space plants 2–3 feet apart; eggplant also grows well in containers and tolerates heat. Mulch to conserve moisture and fertilize monthly. Harvest when the skin is glossy and flesh indents with gentle pressure; pick at about half of mature size; refrigerate up to a week.

Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
