The Lolot plant grows as a herbaceous perennial vine with creeping rhizomes and is commonly known as the Wild Betel plant. Its dark green, glossy leaves serve both culinary and medicinal roles and are most often used to wrap meat in Southeast Asian cooking.
The leaves are also eaten fresh in salads in Laotian and Malay cuisine. The whole plant carries anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and anodyne properties. With its tropical foliage, Lolot makes an attractive ground cover in edible landscapes and belongs to the Piper family, sharing relations with Hoja Santa and Black Pepper Vine.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
