Introducing the Ladbrooke 2" Mini Soil Blocker for seed propagation. This zinc-coated solid steel tool measures 2" x 7.5" x 9" tall, including the handle, and the blocks are actually 1 13/16" square. It helps prevent root shock and naturally air prunes roots for healthier early growth. The blocker comes with four 1/2" seed pins to affix to the blocker and create indentations for seed placement; the pins are included in a separate small bag, so do not discard.
For larger seeds such as sunflowers or peas, 5/8" dowel pins can be purchased separately. To pot up your 3/4" blocks, add 3/4 cube pins to create properly sized indentations in the 2" blocks. Made in England, this tool is designed for use with Mesh or With Hole 1020 trays and the 1020 extra strength bottom tray.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
