Krazy Beaver Shovel All Black Edition USA Made. This is the newest version of the Krazy Beaver line, and the shovel is manufactured in the USA. It measures 40 inches in total length and is well suited for camping, hunting, and off-road use.
The head is powder coated with Cardinal BK01 textured black and coated inside and out from head to handle to prevent rust; if scraped, aerosol paint can be ordered to match the color. It is made from heavy-duty 13-gauge heat-treated tempered steel, twice as thick as a typical residential shovel, with reinforced teeth to resist bending. It measures 11 1/2 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide. The handle is a yellow fiberglass shaft with a permanently mounted 12-inch fiberglass reinforcing core at the head-to-handle junction. A hollow storage section under the D-Grip holds emergency items. The D-Grip is solid polymer, and Tab Lock Pins are glove-friendly for easy attachment or removal and easy to locate if dropped. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
