The Krazy Beaver Mud / Beach Shovel is designed for mud and sand tasks, from freeing a trapped vehicle to beach treasure hunts. Its perforated head transfers water and air to reduce suction when digging, and mud releases more easily when flipped. The shovel measures 40 inches in total length with a 14-gauge steel head and a #2 round-point blade 8 3/4 by 11 inches, supporting up to 270 pounds. A clear coat protects the metal.
The Krazy Beaver Adventure Shovel is made by Seymour Midwest. The fiberglass handle is high-visibility yellow and attaches to the head with a permanently mounted 14-inch reinforcing core. The solid polymer D-Grip is removable to drain water if submerged and includes a hollow section under the grip for emergency items. Quick Release Lock Pins with Tabs provide glove-friendly operation and easy retrieval if dropped. Currently available in one size. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
