A steel interior framework with a wood slat platform provides mattress support without a box spring, compatible with latex, memory foam or spring mattresses. All parts and instructions are tucked into the headboard for easy, under-an-hour assembly, and a 5-year warranty covers your purchase.
Dimensions are 83.7 inches long by 78.7 inches wide and 35 inches high, with a platform height of 12.25 inches and a total weight of 83 pounds. King size supports up to 700 pounds (twin size up to 350 pounds). No box spring is required; slats are spaced 3.3 to 3.8 inches apart, and a mattress height of 10 inches or less is recommended. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
