King Size Farmhouse Solid Wood Platform Bed Frame with Headboard and Footboard features a 2.5-inch-thick solid pine wood frame from renewable forests and a sleek, low-profile silhouette. It is finished with a non-toxic, low-VOC paint derived from renewable sources and requires no box spring thanks to a built-in slat system. The 24 solid wood slats, plus three center support legs, provide sturdy support, and the headboard and footboard are rectangular in shape. A newer model released in October 2021 adds larger headboard and footboard panels. Easy to assemble for two people.
Designed for king-size use, the bed measures 79.5 inches wide with a 42-inch tall headboard and a 17.25-inch tall footboard. The overall height is 42 inches; side rails run 80 inches long by 5 inches high, and the bed sits 9.5 inches from the floor to the bottom. It weighs 90 pounds and supports up to 500 pounds. Made of 100% solid pine and finished with Weathered Steel natural variation, it is imported and designed by Salomao Henkin. Assembly requires two people and a screwdriver; power tools should be avoided.
