Jicama seeds come in a 20-seed pack; each plant yields many bulbs. The seeds are Non-GMO and Neonicotinoid Seed. For best results, start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost date and keep soil warm until emergence, since germination does not occur in cool soil. Harden off plants carefully before transplanting.
Prepare fertile, well-drained soil at least 20 inches deep. Plant in late spring or summer in a warm, sunny location when soil temperatures are above 70°F. Remove flower buds to promote root production. Harvest tubers 5 to 9 months after sowing and store in a dry, dark, cool environment at 50–60°F.

The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
