Japanese Daikon seeds offer a cool-season radish variety native to East and Southeast Asia. The name daikon comes from the Japanese words dai meaning large and kon meaning root. This Non GMO seed packet provides a long-root radish for garden plots.
Appearance and flavor: The root is six inches to over a foot long and two to three inches in diameter with thin white skin; some varieties may be light pink, yellow, green, or black. The interior is white, crisp, and juicy, with a mild, slightly sweet flavor that can be peppery when raw. Cultivation and care: A cool-season crop that prefers sunny locations and loose, well-drained soil; direct-seeded in spring or fall and requires regular watering to prevent woody or bitter roots. Uses and climate: Eat raw in salads, pickle, stir-fry, or simmer in soups; kaiware sprouts are used in salads and as garnish for sushi. Best grown in cooler weather, daytime 60-70°F (15-21°C); tolerates light frost.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
