The Hoya Rope Plant (Hoya carnosa compacta, also called Hindu Rope or Krinkle Kurl) is a trailing succulent featuring thick, spiraling leaves that cascade dramatically. This slow-growing vine produces annual clusters of pink-and-white waxy flowers known for their honey and chocolate aroma. Unique persistent flower spurs enable reliable reblooming from identical growth points each season.
Grow this climate-resilient specimen in bright indirect light near east or west windows using a fast-draining mix of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. Allow the substrate to dry fully between waterings and reduce irrigation during winter months. Feed monthly with balanced liquid fertilizer when temperatures remain steady between 60–85°F. Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
