Hot Jalapeño Early Pepper is a dependable variety that blends medium heat with early maturity and prolific production. These compact plants thrive in full sun and well-draining soil, maturing in 65–70 days. The peppers measure 2–3 inches long with smooth, glossy skin that ripens from green to a deep red, providing a versatile range of flavors. Regular harvesting encourages a steady supply of spicy peppers throughout the season, and the plants are suitable for garden beds, raised beds, or containers.
Jalapeño Early fruit is dark-green, thick-walled, 3 inches long and cone-shaped, ripening to red. Fully ripe peppers are hottest at 4,000–6,000 Scoville units, though green fruit is edible. This variety is earlier and better adapted to cool conditions and is suitable for Mexican dishes and pickling. For growing, aim for 75–85°F soil temperatures, sow at 1/4 inch depth, and expect 6–15 days for germination; height at maturity is about 24 inches. Days to maturity: 72.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
