The String of Watermelons 2 Inch Plant Compact is a compact succulent from Africa, commonly known as String of Watermelons and scientifically referred to as Herreianus. It stores water in its spherical leaves to help withstand drought. When established, it grows long trailing vines of plump green leaves that are striped and can reach impressive lengths, making it ideal for hanging fixtures or trailing down a shelf.
Care basics include letting soil dry completely between waterings and using a well-draining soil mix. It prefers bright indirect light and should be repotted in spring as necessary; cuttings can be used for propagation. A ceramic pot is not included. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
