The entrance is larger than that of the House Wren, and the extra width helps wrens carry wide sticks for nesting material. It hangs with a metal chain and opens easily for clean-out.
As with all nest boxes, ventilation and drainage are built in, and the design opens for easy clean-out. The sustainably grown 1" thick Eastern White Pine provides insulation. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
