GrowersHouse Aphidoletes aphidimyza is a biological control that relies on aphid midges whose larvae feed on aphids after eggs are laid near aphid colonies. The larvae emerge to consume aphids and can target over 60 species of aphids, providing a natural approach to reducing aphid populations. The product is registered for use in the USA.
Application rates vary by infestation level: Preventative 1-2 per square foot, Moderate 2-4, Heavy 4-8 per square foot. For best results, release as soon as aphids are detected, and prefer early morning or late afternoon releases when temperatures are cooler. Release at the base of plants where aphids are present and dampen the carrier to help with adult emergence from pupae. Place on top of grow media, not foliage, and continue weekly releases until aphids are no longer present. Available sizes include 250 ml BW-AA2 and 1 L BW-AA10 bottles for use in the USA.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
