Ventilate your greenhouse with our side wall ventilation hand crank. It can raise and lower roll-up curtains along sidewalls up to 150 feet long, enabling better airflow and climate control. The crank features a stainless steel handle and a full plastic resin casing designed to resist corrosion over time. A 4:1 gear ratio provides easy cranking, and the self-locking automatic brake holds the sidewall in place. The drive shaft fits inside a ¾" EMT conduit, with attachment screws included; a ¾" EMT conduit guide post is not included but is readily found at most hardware stores.
With this hand crank, you can control the temperature and humidity inside your greenhouse and access sidewalls for both low- and high-tunnel hoop houses. It is designed for straightforward installation alongside your curtain system. Ventilation improves air circulation, which helps reduce humidity-related pests and disease, supports pollination by moving pollen around, and helps keep plants cooler during hot months.
