Fifty Percent Black Greenhouse Shade Cloth is UV stabilized, rot and mildew resistant, and built for long-term use. The black polyethylene knitted fabric delivers 50% shade with UV treatment, providing 50% light transmittance to diffuse sunlight and protect plants from UV exposure. It helps keep the greenhouse cooler, improves ventilation, reduces water usage, and helps prevent sunburn on crops such as tomatoes, lettuce, and other vegetables. The fabric carries an 8-year warranty and has a projected 16-year life expectancy, making it a reliable shading solution for hoop houses and high tunnels.
Because each order is custom cut, returns cannot be accepted once the item has shipped. For fit, cover hip-to-hip on your hoop house or loosely over the area needing protection. Secure with clips every 24–36 inches, or install using lock channel and spring wire. Shade level guidance shows 30% for Northern Zones and 50% for Southern Zones and crops like tomatoes, lettuce, and mixed crops. Rolls over 120 lbs ship via motor freight.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
