Giap Ca Fish Mint Plant Houttuynia Cordata
Giap Cá Fish Mint Plant (Houttuynia cordata) is a perennial herb native to Southeast Asia. It carries several common names, including Giâp Cá Plant, Fish Mint plant, Lizard Tail plant, Heartleaf plant, and Chameleon Plant. Renowned for its strong fishy aroma, it is used in Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese cuisines, particularly in salads, soups, and as a garnish. The plant is valued for traditional medicinal properties and thrives in wet, shady conditions, making it a versatile addition to moist gardens.
Leaves are heart-shaped, dark green with a purple tint, and their fishy aroma intensifies when crushed. Giap Cá grows low and spreading, reaching about 1–2 feet in height, and spreads via underground rhizomes to cover moist, shaded spaces. Flowers are small and white, while the foliage drives most culinary and medicinal use. Leaves are edible and used fresh in salads or as garnish; tea or tincture are used medicinally.

Great product and delivery
Really nice soil and awesome service
Never used because I ordered the wrong Water Filter. Mike was very helpful with the return and refund. Excellent Customer Service.
Great service. Soil is what I wanted and it off loaded exactly where I asked.
Plants are doing really well with this soil. Deep and rich looking soil, plants seem really happy. Much more cost effective (and no plastic bag waste) compared to buying bags of soil mix from a store.
The quality of the craftsmanship is superb! My formula one fan absolutely loves it!!!!
Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
Plant was well packed and shipment was very fast. Received a very nice fully rooted plant in the pot!
