It is finished with a non-toxic low-VOC paint made from renewable sources. The October 2021 update added larger headboard and footboard panels, and the back has a semi-finished polyurethane varnish. The bed requires no box spring and is easy to assemble; it includes a 24-slat kit with three center support legs to support up to 500 lb, with both headboard and footboard included.
Dimensions and compatibility: The frame is 58.5 inches wide with a 42-inch headboard and a 17.25-inch footboard. Full-size mattress space measures 74.75 inches long by 55 inches wide. Slats are spaced 3.5 inches apart and are 2.75 inches wide; clearance from floor to the bottom is 9.5 inches. The unit weighs 90 pounds and includes 80-inch side rails and 5-inch rail height. Mattress not included; it is compatible with adjustable bed bases; box spring not required. Assembly is required with two people; a screwdriver is required; power tools should be avoided.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
