Flipper Edge 2 In 1 Magnetic Algae Cleaner is a handheld aquarium cleaner designed for glass and acrylic tanks up to 1/2" thick. It combines a scrubber and scraper in a patented 2-in-1 magnetic design, flipping from scrubber to scraper by rotating the handle. An ergonomic grip/flip handle makes flipping easy to reach stubborn algae, and rare earth magnets provide strong cleaning strength and durability.
Blade options include dual interchangeable blades: 316 stainless steel and acrylic-safe plastic, reversible with flat or serrated edges for algae removal and safer scraping near silicone. Includes two 316 stainless steel blades and two acrylic-safe blades. Replacement blades available: Acrylic Safe Plastic Blades - 10pk and Stainless Steel Blades - 4pk. Blade replacement is recommended every 3–6 months. Edge line covers Nano float (glass up to 1/4"), Edge standard (up to 1/2"), and Edge Max (up to 1"). Flipping tips: use areas with low water currents, flip near the surface, and avoid metal blades near gravel lines or sealant; magnets are strong—keep fingers clear and away from electronics.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
