Florence fennel, also known as finocchio or Italian fennel, is grown for its edible bulb. The bulb is large and bulbous with a white to pale green base, and tall, feathery leaves rise above on stalks that resemble celery and are broader than those of dill.
The bulb, stalk, and leaves have a sweet, mild anise flavor. Florence fennel usually grows 2–3 feet tall, with a bulb about 3–4 inches in diameter; it is a cool-season crop with an 80–90 day harvest. In cooking, the bulb can be sliced for salads or braised, roasted, or grilled; leaves can garnish or be added to dishes, and seeds can be used as a spice. Nutritionally, it's rich in vitamin C, dietary fiber, potassium, and antioxidants.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
